Botanical Traces

Each piece begins with a photograph of a real flower I wanted to preserve. I transform the image into layers of laser engravings on plexiglass, add colour, sand, and repeat the process until delicate botanical details slowly emerge.

Some flowers reveal themselves immediately, others only when you look closer. Each piece is a small, contemporary way of keeping a fleeting moment in bloom.
